Makena is an energetic, relational and self-motivated individual who has a natural ability and love for working with people from all walks of life. Her greatest passion is coming alongside people and helping them achieve personal goals successfully. More specifically, learning how to connect the dots between who one is and who he or she wants to be, through incremental behavioral steps that enable each individual to successfully progress.
Makena has worked in the health and wellness industry performing a wide array of roles as an assistant fitness manager, exercise physiologist and coach. Coaching individuals from ages 13 to 96, the majority living with chronic or serious health conditions: Cardiovascular Disease, Spinal Injuries, Cancer, Parkinson's, Cerebral Palsy, Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, COPD, Knee & Hip Replacements, Obesity, etc...
